Nice to meet you, I'm Naama. I'm an anthropologist living in Denmark. After realizing that walking into strangers' homes uninvited is completely creepy, I found a better way to learn about Danish culture: through the objects people choose, keep, pass on, and let go of. Objects hold our values, the era they were made in, the things we believed in, and the way we shape the world around us. Like it or not, they are an inseparable part of human experience — a mirror of the society we live in. This tour takes you through vintage, antiques and second-hand shops in different neighbourhoods of Copenhagen. We start in the city centre and gradually move outward. Through the shops, streets, and objects we encounter, we'll try to understand which values, habits, and worldviews shape life in Denmark:
Private groups — friends, families, organizations — who want to discover Copenhagen through shops, objects, and conversation, not just the sights.
