In a country where design is part of the national identity, and objects are seen as things worth repairing, passing on, and living with for years, a second-hand market isn't a compromise — it's local logic. Nice to meet you, I'm Naama. I'm an anthropologist living in Denmark. After realizing that walking into strangers' homes uninvited is completely creepy, I found the perfect way to learn about Danish culture: through their objects and their surroundings. Objects hold our values, the things we believed in, and the way we shape our worldview. Like it or not, they are the inseparable mirror of the human experience. And this Saturday is going to be one of Copenhagen's magical Saturdays, and anyone here is especially lucky. I've created a route I'm genuinely excited about, and I invite you to join it for a journey into culture through objects. We'll talk about Denmark, about anthropology, about second-hand, and about objects.
Anyone visiting Copenhagen who wants to see the city from an angle the guidebooks miss — through markets, courtyards, and conversations with locals.
Fill in your details and we'll reserve your spot. You'll get a confirmation email — the tour is held in Hebrew only. We'll follow up with the exact meeting point before the tour.
