Photo Walks, Facilitation and Cultural Experiences in Copenhagen

Nufar Hatzbani is a photographer, group facilitator and creator of cultural experiences based in Copenhagen, Denmark. With over 15 years of experience in designing tours and guiding international audiences, she connects the practice of photography with a deeper way of observing and engaging with the urban environment.
Her work offers participants a fresh perspective on the encounter between people, culture and place.
Nufar is a graduate of the Photography Department at Minshar School of Art in Tel Aviv. Over the years, she has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in intentional slowing down, sensitivity to detail and attentiveness to the social stories embedded in everyday spaces.
Her practice moves between personal documentation and experiential cultural encounters, inviting participants to discover hidden layers within familiar surroundings.
In 2024, Nufar relocated to Copenhagen with her family in order to expand her work within an international cultural context.
She now works in the city as an independent photographer, collaborates with creative communities and leads photography workshops and photo walks in Copenhagen for both visitors and local residents.
Her walks focus on emerging neighbourhoods and areas beyond the well-trodden tourist routes, offering an intimate and authentic introduction to the diverse urban landscapes of Denmark.
Through the lens of the camera, Nufar invites participants to experience the city as a living, dynamic and thought-provoking environment.
As they move through the streets, participants learn to recognise the interplay of light and shadow, composition and texture, while also becoming attentive to the inner experiences that arise during the act of wandering.
Photography becomes a reflective tool through which architecture and public space turn into a field for creative exploration.
In collaboration with Field Notes & Finds, Nufar leads curated photo walks that offer an experiential way to connect with Copenhagen and with Denmark’s urban and cultural environment.
These walks encourage visitors to observe their surroundings with a renewed and sharpened gaze, combining visual perception with cultural interpretation of place. This approach creates a rich, multi-layered experience that moves harmoniously between meaningful insight, personal sensation and local storytelling.
